Welcoming over 1 million visitors per year and thriving for almost 200 years, ZSL London Zoo covers almost 35 acres in the heart of London. Situated next to the leafy Regents Park and home to over 19,000 living animals and a staggering 750 different species. As a working conservation charity, the Zoo is tirelessly working for wildlife around the world, to protect animals and their environment and encourage life-long learning for its’ visitors.
There are various travel options but we decided to drive. We drove from Peterborough into London (1hr, 55min) and parked in the ZSL London Zoo designated car park. The cost of the car park was £14.50 for the whole day. However you must show your Zoo tickets (from your email, printed tickets, phone or other device) to get the car park for £14.50 otherwise the price is £65 for 'non zoo visitors'! Unfortunately the car park does not have a pre book option, so there was quite a queue to get in but its only a five minute walk to the Zoo entrance once you have parked.
